Romans 3:10—As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23—For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 5:8—...God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 6:23—For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 10:9-10—..if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13—For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How do we receive salvation?

We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel - the good news of Jesus' death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then we must believe - fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19), and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10,13).

Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word say, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I do that now, I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.  I invite Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit to work in and through me to do that which is pleasing in Your sight.

In Jesus Name I pray - Amen.

If you prayed that prayer I want to welcome you to the family of God.

I pray that you find a place where you can learn and grow in the Word of God and Worship with others.
