What a wonderful scripture! A much proclaimed scripture. This is a scripture that I hold dear to my heart. A scripture that is easily repeated when all is going well in my life. It's also a scripture that helps me when times are bad, when I am in the middle of a crisis as well. If I am to believe that ALL THINGS work together for my good, I must believe without doubt, having complete certainty - without wavering that when times are hard and when my back is up against the wall - when life afflictions arise that even then; according the God's mighty word that ALL THINGS ARE WORKING TOGETHER for my good. I must have infallible faith - Holy confidence in the Word of God that All things will work together in cooperation for the believer's good - MY GOOD. We all remember: Daniel, Hannah, Joseph, Ahaz, Jonah & Elijah - just wanted to mention a few -THINGS WORKED TOGETHER FOR THEIR GOOD. If you are a believer - called according to his purpose (those who love God; who have been called from darkness into the light; from unbelief to faith - from death to life) you should have assurance in this all-time favorite verse. Listen, we can not escape heartache, pain or distress; but we must know - we much perceive directly; grasp in our minds - with clarity and certainty - regard to be true beyond doubt that ALL THINGS ARE WORKING TOGETHER FOR OUR GOOD.
